Glyph of Radiant Light
Perfect for explorers, healers, and defenders alike, the Glyph of Radiant Light serves as both a source of illumination and a beacon of hope. It is especially valued in dark or perilous environments, providing both comfort and practical aid with its radiant energy. - 'A Thousand and One Artifacts of an Era', Ellara Podfoot, Fey historian.
Each glyph pendant is painstakingly designed, transcribed to metal and then saw-pierced by hand with a blade sometimes no thicker than a few strands of human hair. From there, it is filed into shape and carefully sanded. As the brass sheet each piece is cut from is only 1mm thick, each step must proceed with a gentle touch to ensure that the piece isn't damaged while being created. From there, extra details like metal beads or cabochon fittings are created and micro-welded onto the piece. Finally, the entire item gets a polish or a patina (or sometimes both!) before being set on a necklace and given a name. This process can take anywhere from a few hours, to upwards of a day and a half, depending on the complexity of the design.
The pendant itself is a little over 3.5cm in diameter and features a beautiful Labradorite stone cabochon set in a striking bezel. The double-cord necklace is 20cm from clasp to pendant.
All items on this store are hand made, and due to the nature of this, there may be minor deviations from the item pictured. While all care is taken with my work, minor changes like pattern placement are inevitable, especially between ring sizes. Small changes can also be present between items made in batches, often due to the nature of the materials used.
